Dropped a big surprise during the Christmas season, Shawn Mendes filled the joy with his heartwarming voice with his girlfriend, Camila Cabello. With the song "The Christmas Song", we can clearly feel the love from their charming voices and the video.
“Wanted to give you guys a few surprise songs for the holidays,” Mendes, 22, wrote alongside his post. “#WONDER holiday deluxe is out now, including #TheChristmasSong with @camila_cabello 🦋🥺🖤 Proceeds from the song will benefit @feedingamerica & we’re starting by donating $100k to support those in need in the holidays.”

The original "The Christmas Song" (commonly subtitled "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire" or, as it was originally subtitled, "Merry Christmas to You") is a classic Christmas song written in 1945[note 1] by Robert Wells and Mel Tormé.
From this new covered version, it is a lovely bless from this lovely two musicians, the couple who have been dating since 2019, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. They covered this song in Shawn Mendes' fourth studio album Wonder in the Holiday Deluxe version of the album. Inside the video featuring them two spending time at home together, dancing under Christmas lights, singing in their home studio in matching Christmas sweaters and playing with the new dog, Tarzan.
Shawn Mendes spent much of the 2020 quarantining with Camila Cabello and her family in Camila's native Miami since the coronavirus pandemic in North America in March. With the happiness that shared from the song, it bring the Christmas joy and shared the adorable moments. Camila delivers some of her best vocals, and their voices always sound great together.
Not only releasing the song, but Mendes is also using the duet to help those in need during the holiday season. From Dec. 5 - 31, 2020, for every 10 million streams of “The Christmas Song,” The Shawn Mendes Foundation will donate $10,000 to Feeding America.
Cabello, reflected on the past year in her post. “This has been such a crazy year with so many challenges,” she began. “This holiday season, it is more important than ever to spread love and kindness to everyone!
