About Auburn University

- On campus
Throughout the year, Auburn’s campus hosts a variety of concerts, cultural and sporting events, international festivals, and art exhibits. Most days, students can stroll around campus with friends, picnic in the Davis Arboretum or gather their book for an outdoor study session.
- Sports and Recreation
The 240,000-square-foot Recreation and Wellness Center offers a 1/3-mile indoor track, two 50-foot rock climbing walls, a PGA golf simulator, cardio and strength equipment, personal training and group fitness classes, a bike shop, an outdoor equipment rental center, a 40-person hot tub, and a leisure pool.
- Safety
The campus supports multiple security measures, including an extensive closed-circuit surveillance system, the nightly Public Safety shuttle, blue light emergency phone, and a contracted security personnel.
In the event of an emergency situation, AU ALERT (Auburn University’s Official emergency alert system) provides information on appropriate actions to students, faculty, and staff via voice, email, text messages, social media, and other methods.
- Transportation
Auburn Global Student with a valid Auburn ID card have unlimited access to Tiger Transit route. Students can also utilize alternative mode of transportation, including and bike share programs.
